Jahangirpuri Communal Clashes: Plea Seeks NIA Probe, Suspects Terror Funding

In the latest updates, a plea has been moved in the Supreme Court looking for investigation by National Investigation Agency (NIA) in collective conflicts, which occurred in many parts of the country on the events of Ram Navami and Hanuman Jayanti.

The supplication moved by advocate Vineet Jindal said going after the fans during parade by terminating, stone tossing, vandalizing vehicles, and making common strain is a danger to the sway of the country. “Considering the gravity of this and a progression of occasions the nation over in seven distinct states show the inclusion of fear financing with potential connects to ISIS and other enemy of public and global associations to target Hindus the nation over”, said the request.

The solicitor said he is distressed that on the promising events of Hanuman Jayanti and Ram Navami, numerous episodes of mutual conflicts occurred in various conditions of the country. “Conflicts broke out in Jahangirpuri on April 16, on the event of Hanuman Jayanti festivity and before that in any event, during Ram Navami festivities in the provinces of Rajasthan, Gujarat, Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Madhya Pradesh and on JNU grounds during tranquil parade and festivity, the fans were gone after”, added the supplication. The solicitor looked for a course from the top court to handover the investigation of the FIRs to NIA.

A letter appeal was likewise moved by a backer Amritpal Singh Khalsa before Chief Justice N.V Ramana to take suo motu cognisance of the Jahangirpuri riots in Delhi. The letter appeal said the Delhi Police investigation up until this point, has been fractional, mutual and is straightforwardly protecting culprits of the uproars.
