Jana Reddy ridicules CM’s challenge

Hyderabad: Reacting on the challenge thrown by the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on early polls, CLP leader K Jana Reddy said that the KCR’s challenge was ridiculous one. He demanded the Chief Minister to tell on what reasons the latter was going for early elections and made it clear that the Congress party was ready for elections at any time. He exuded confidence that the Congress party would come to power in Telangana state but it was not easy to tell as to how many seats the party will win. No need to get surprised if the government was formed similar to Karnataka even Telnagana state, he stated.

Speaking to the media here on Friday, Jana Reddy alleged that an unintelligent government was there in Telangana state. He said that he has no information on TRS leader D Srinivas’s re-entry into the Congress party. Dismissing former Minister Danam Nagender’s statement that the BCs were meeting injustice in Congress party, Jana Reddy said that he was not thinking that there was a change in PCC Chief post. He made it clear that there was no truth in news came in saying that only a section of police officers had got promotions when Jana Reddy was Home Minister.

Jana Reddy lashed out at the TRS government saying that it was murdering democracy in the state. He condemned the house arrest of Alampur MLA SA Sampath Kumar on the occasion of Chief Minister’s tour in Gadwal. The government was suppressing the people if spoken on public issues. It was foolish thing that the government was in a feeling that it will run the police raj, he said and alleged that there was no this much of detention even in dictatorial nations. He also condemned the government’s act against ration dealers and asked the state government to invite the ration dealers for discussions. The people would teach a fitting lesson to the TRS government soon, he added. (NSS)
