Jana Sena Chief asks party workers to support BJP in GHMC elections

Hyderabad: Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan today called upon the party workers from the city to extend their complete support to ally BJP in the upcoming GHMC elections. He made these remarks after holding a meeting with BJP leaders Dr. K. Laxman and union minister of home affairs G. Kishan Reddy at the residence of his party colleague and former speaker of the Andhra Pradesh assembly Nadendla Manohar.

Speaking on the occasion, he reminded the party workers about the alliance formed by the JSP in the 2014 assembly elections. He said that they had decided to withdraw from the fray and not contest the elections by keeping in view of the larger interests of the state capital Hyderabad. He said that although his party had planned to hold discussions with the BJP on the GHMC elections, he said that they didn’t get time to do so as the notification for the elections was issued in a sudden manner. He made it clear that they had taken the decision with an intention to not divide their votes. He urged the party workers to not be disappointed about the Party decision.

He said that they would prepare a road Map by keeping in view of the assembly elections.
