Hyderabad : Kannada Sene is celebrating “Kannada Rajyotsava” every year, commemorating the naming of erstwhile Mysore State as Karnataka State. This year, they are celebrating the event more meaningfully in Hyderabad amidst the Kannadigas of the twin cities on October 31 at Sahitya Mandira Road, Lingampally, Kachiguda here from 11.30 am onwards. VC Sajjanar, Commissioner Cyberabad, will be the Chief Guest .
KR Kumar, President, M. Mahadev, State Principal Secretary, M. Munegowda of Kannada sene, and Vithal Joshi, President of Kannada Sahitya Mandira, said the event is being hosted jointly by Karnataka Sahitya Mandira (KSM) and Karnataka Sikshana Samithi (KSS), eight decades old twin organizations promoting the interests of Kannadigas settled in the twin cities. The event includes procession of Goddess Bhuvaneshwari, cultural and comedy programes. The cultural programs will be presented by Rupakala Nrutyasala, Bengaluru.(NSS)
