Air India Put a Halt On Vaccinating Employees Due To Shortage

As per the latest reports, National carrier Air India Ltd has put a hold on their plan to vaccinate the employees by May end because of the shortage fo Covid 19 vaccine. The national carrier cancelled vaccination camps at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport.

This move comes after the Ministry of Civil Aviation recently advised all the companies in the aviation sector including both airlines and airports to vaccinate the aviation employees. Last week, MoCA advised all the players to cover their employees under the vaccination program.

A senior AAI official said that setting up the vaccination camps across the AAI airports would only be possible when there is enough vaccine. The official said that the shortage of vaccines would get better in the next couple of months.
