Hyderabad: CLP leader K Jana Reddy has condemned cine critic Kathi Mahesh’s remarks in TV news channels and social media and demanded that the State government initiate action against Kathi Mahesh immediately.
Speaking to the media here on Wednesday, Jana Reddy said Kathi Mahesh’s remarks would provoke emotions and give room for agitations from others. He asked the State government to initiate action against Mahesh for speaking in a manner that would disturb social harmony. He also asked the journalists to maintain restraint and not publish “debased” words in newspapers
Claiming that all sections of the people were hating Kathi Mahesh’s remarks, Jana Reddy said the society has to respond on these remarks. He asked all political parties and religions not to encourage such elements. He asked the State government to initiate precautionary measures to stop such remarks in a manner the governments initiate precautionary measures towards Maoism and Terrorism by taking severe action against Kathi Mahesh.
Asking the media to sensor such remarks, Jana Reddy alleged that Mahesh was speaking in an arrogant manner. There was no difference between Kathi Mahesh and terrorists, he slammed. (NSS)
