Hyderabad : Nizamabad MP Kavitha today greeted people of Telangana on the occasion of Saddula Bathukamma festival. She took to social media to extend floral festival greetings to the womenfolk in the State and elsewhere on the globe.
Bathukamma is the ancient popular festival of flowers and nature and reflect the culture and traditions of the State, Kavitha said. The nine-day event of floral festival will come to an end with Saddula Bathukamma festivities in the State. Kavitha hoped that the people will cherish the Bathukamm festival by remembering floral fragrance, enticing songs exuberance and playing enthusiasm entire year.
The floral festival which began on October 9 and culminating on Wednesday with the officials concerned making all arrangements in the district for grand celebrations. The State festival of Telangana, Bathukamma has been celebrated in Mumbai, Delhi and foreign countries and NRIs celebrated the event more enthusiastically this time, she added. (NSS)
