Hyderabad : TRS supremo and caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today directed all his 105 party candidates in the election fray to assemble at State party office Telangana Bhavan on Sunday at 2.30 pm to discuss about publicity, strategy, norms to be followed and do’s and don’ts.
It may be mentioned here that KCR dissolved the Assembly on September 6 and declared names of his party nominees to 105 Assembly constituencies immediately. He had also advised the party nominees to plunge into electioneering. Presuming there will be dissidence and discontent from unsuccessful ticket aspirants and intra-party fighting, KCR had asked them to handle the situation politely and tactfully. On the same day, the party supremo had also distributed publicity material to them.
From the day one after dissolution of the Assembly, the party president had been in touch with every candidate on telephone and has been keeping abreast of the developments and giving suggestions. As the elections are nearing, Chandrashekar Rao has decided to interact with his party candidates personally. The TRS chief was keen on eliciting information about the election talk in the constituencies, pulse of the people on various issues as well as on the party manifesto released recently.
KCR also want give suggestions to his party nominees as how to refute allegations of the Opposition parties and how to organize publicity in the social media. He is likely to give advice to his “warriors” how to behave till the polling date and so on. (NSS)
