KCR informed Governor on Markaj, corona cases

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today informed Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan about corona cases in the state and preventive measures against virus spread.
He called on the Governor at Raj Bhavan along with health minister E Rajender,  chief secretary Somesh Kumar and health secretary Shanthi Kumar.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister explained to the Governor on serious measures and efforts to cut the virus chain in the state.

The meeting gets significant as positive cases increased to 97 as about 1000 persons attended the Nizamuddin Markaz meeting in Delhi and returned to Hyderabad. Almost all of them were identified and being checked up he said.

The Chief Minister has informed about 14 patients discharged after quarantine.  The CM said about giving Rs 500 and 12 kg rice to workers due to the lockdown effect.  The hospitals, staff, and equipment to treat corona cases are in place,  KCR said.

Tamilisai Soundararajan is said to have asked for intensified measures to cut virus spread. She has appreciated lockdown steps by the Government.  It is good to continue it till April 15 as the nation is facing a tough time after the corona outbreak she felt.
