KCR to announce compensation for crops loss: Rajender

Hyderabad: Health Minister E Rajender today said that state government will offer compensation to farmers on crops and property loss due to heavy rains in districts.

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will soon announce compensation for the loss of the crops to the farmers he said here after visiting areas inundated with heavy rains in Karim Nagar district.

KCR is monitoring the situation and pressed in officials to assess the loss of the crop in the state he told media persons.  The Chief Minister has alerted district officials on the heavy rains and floods causing havoc he said.

There is heavy crop loss and the officials of agriculture,  revenue,  irrigation are to submit a report on the loss of the crops for the same the minister said. Rajender instructed the officials to evacuate people caught up in waters in low lying and submerged areas.

The government will offer all help and people should not worry he said. The farmers and people who suffered the loss of crops and properties will get suitable help her assured.  There is need for panic and be careful from the rains and floods he added.

Incessant rains continued to lash Telugu state Telangana for the fourth consecutive day on Monday while the river Godavari was flowing above the danger mark at Bhadrachalam, inundating several low-lying areas.
