KCR visits Yadadri, scolds officials for slow works

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today visited the Sri Laxmi-Narasimha Swamy temple at Yadadri in Bhongir district.

On arrival, KCR got traditional reception at the Temple by priests and officials. He performed pujas and obtained blessings from Veda pundits. The visit assumes significance as he has plans to conduct a Maha Sundarshan Yagam with hundreds of Vedic Pundits,  Ritviks and pujaris as per traditions.  He instructed the officials to speed up temple works with facilities.

The Chief Minister directed the officials to complete development works, ring road works in a speedy manner. Since the Yagam is very important, the officials should make necessary arrangements at the temple in about 100 acres, he said, adding that Yagam will be performed on a grand scale.

According to the information, the Chief Minister asked for speedy completion of the development works on the lines of TTD. Yadadri Lakshmi Narsimha Swamy Temple is sprucing up for big Yagam in near future. He has already discussed on Yagam with on Tridandi Chinna Jeeyar Swamy recently at his Ashram near Shamshabad.

The temple reconstruction works are nearing completion and Yagam will be conducted to mark its future inaugural. As per the plan of the Chief Minister, hundreds of Ritviks and purohits will conduct the Yagam on auspicious days, sources said.

The State government was spending huge funds to rebuild the Yadadri temple on the lines of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD).
