KCR warns Aruna, Uttam for remarks

Hyderabad:TRS supremo and caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today lashed out at Congress leaders, including DK Aruna and others for “shamelessly” giving “mangalaharati” to release waters from Pothireddypadu and Srisaialm to Andhra area in the then combined State that dumped Telangana.

Addressing a public meeting in Wanaparty, KCR launched a scathing attack on DK Aruna, TPCC Chief Utham Kumar Reddy for remarks against him and the ruling party. He warned them of dire consequences if they failed to stop such malicious campaign against him. He said previous Andhra Pradesh rulers denied waters to Palamur and dug holes to Pothireddypadu and Srisailam to shift 3600 cusecs to Anantapur and required quantity from Handri Niva to Andhra areas.

He slammed Congress leader DK Aruna and TPCC Chief Utham Reddy for their jibe at Gadwal meeting. The Congress leaders did not know about the projects, their designing and the plan to get waters to irrigate more waters. KCR slammed Utham for calling him “Battebaz”, “dhokebaz” and other abuses. He also ridiculed the Congress meeting in Alampur and Gadwal that attracted only a few people. It is shame on the part of DK Aruna for giving “Mangalaharati” to release the waters to Anantapur in the presence of N Raghuveera Reddy. He slammed Aruna for remarks against the ruling party and warned that he will disclose the history of that leader.

The local media should highlight as to why the congress leaders ran away from his power point presentation on redesigning of the projects. This can be attributed to their foolishness and lack of knowledge and gave nods to Andhra rulers he said. Utham said that he did not prepare for the power point presentation then why you came to the Assembly. (NSS)
