Famous Khairatabad Ganesh idol to be coming up in 40 ft height this time.
The Ganesh festival celebration committee took a decision in this regard and began the pujas at the site.
The committee said that this time Ganesh will be seen in Panchamukha Mahardura shape to the devotees.
The committee unveiled the model of the Ganesh idol and performed special pujas on the occasion. This time since corona cases came down and the lockdown was lifted by the government the Ganesh festival to be celebrated amid fanfare they said.

Last year Ganesh was just 20 ft high and it will be double in size this time, they said. Thus the people in the city will see the Ganesh idol at 40 ft high.
On the left side are some other attractive statues of the gods to be arranged as part of the festivities.
While 15 ft Kalanaga Devatha idols on the left side and Krishna kali devathas statues to be set up on the right side, they added.
