Kishan Reddy Failed to Get Funds : Dayakar Rao

Telangana Panchayat Raj Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao today criticized that the BJP Government in the Centre failed to keep its promises.

The Minister, talking to press persons, accused Union Minister G Kishan Reddy of failing to get additional funds to Telangana state.

He alleged that the state BJP leaders in Telangana are resorting to spreading hatred among people. Though no adequate funds are getting released from the Centre to the state the BJP leaders make false charges on the welfare programs, he charged.

Kishan Reddy should give a white paper disclosing what more he got from the Centre for Telangana.

The Modi government has failed to control price rise and fuel charges burdening the poor and common man, the minister expressed displeasure. The Minister said that charges of petrol, diesel and cooking gas increased like never before.

Dayakar expressed concern that the Modi failure has only caused a big burden to the poor and the middle class with such charges. The minister said that the Centre which appreciated Mission Bhagiratha has failed to give funds despite Niti Ayog recommendations.

He recalled that Niti Ayog urged the Centre for release of Rs 24000 cr towards Mission Bhagiratha and Mission Kakatiya for potable water for villages and lakes revival respectively.

Though the Modi Government did not give funds, he expressed concern.

They are using the religion card to disturb the people without getting funds for development in the state, the Minister deplored.
