KT Rama Rao Expresses Confidence in BRS Party’s Success in Elections and Highlights Telangana’s Achievements

KT Rama Rao, the working president of the BRS party, restated the party’s confidence in winning 90 to 100 seats in the next elections, assuring a hat-trick for the party and K Chandrashekhar Rao’s continuation as Chief Minister for a third term. KT Rama Rao challenged both the Congress and the BJP to name their Chief Ministerial candidates, rejecting the BJP’s chances of regaining seats in Goshamahal, Dubbak, and Huzurabad. He stated that the BRS party and the state’s people were unconcerned about the BJP.

KT Rama Rao discussed numerous topics with journalists, asserting that the outcome of the Karnataka elections would have little impact on Telangana. He chastised BJP leaders for campaigning in Karnataka when turmoil erupted in Manipur. He emphasised the BJP’s setback in the Karnataka polls, despite the Prime Minister’s efforts.

Regarding the AIMIM’s plans to run for more Telangana assembly seats, KT Rama Rao stated that any party was free to run for as many seats as they wanted. He responded to AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi’s accusations about the BRS government’s failure in minority welfare by citing Owaisi’s support for Telangana’s minority welfare efforts during his Uttar Pradesh campaign. Telangana’s government, according to KT Rama Rao, is focused on holistic, integrated, inclusive, and balanced growth.

When discussing agriculture, KT Rama Rao emphasised Telangana’s excess paddy procurement over the previous year, emphasising the government’s resolve to acquire every grain produced by farmers. He urged BJP President JP Nadda and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge to show a better model of government than Telangana’s.

In response to opposition parties’ claims of violations in the Outer Ring Road Toll-Operate-Transfer model, KT Rama Rao referred to legal notifications placed on State Congress President A Revanth Reddy and BJP MLA Raghunandan Rao. He indicated that the administration was willing to order investigations by agencies such as the ED or CBI if necessary.

KT Rama Rao stated that the state could constantly improve in areas like as public transportation, Metro services, nala development, stormwater drains, sewer systems, healthcare, and education. He cited Telangana’s accomplishments over the last nine years, including the construction of the Kaleshwaram lift irrigation project, a high per capita income, job creation in the public and private sectors, piped water supply to every household, healthcare improvements, and various administrative reforms.
