KTR accuses PM Modi of misleading the country using ‘fake Gujarat model’

BRS Working President and IT Minister KT Rama Rao said it was essential to introduce the Telangana model across the country to expose the true colors of Modi and his party, saying that Narendra Modi became Prime Minister by misleading the country with the ‘fake Gujarat model’.

Speaking at a BRS party meeting in Sircilla, the minister stated that the entry of chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao into national politics is a necessary step that is resulting in responses from Aurangabad, Bhokar, and Kandhar Loha residents.

“The benefits that Telangana’s farmers are getting, should be extended to farmers of other states as well. If BJP did a good job, why are the Maharashtra farmers welcoming KCR?”

Telangana spent Rs 4.5 lakh crores on agriculture, electricity, and irrigation projects, said KTR, and the Centre did nothing to help farmers.

If the BJP had done a great job, why were Maharashtra farmers welcoming Chandrashekhar Rao, who had no prior introduction to them, and that too with the slogan ‘Ab ki Baar Kisan Sarkar’, he asked, as well as why farmers in Yavatmal district were committing suicide if Modi, who came to power in 2014 by promising to double farmers’ income, had fulfilled his promise?

He recounted the development projects in the constituency and stated that roads worth several crores are being developed. “The government introduced schemes for the weavers of Sircilla with Rs 400 crores. Now Sircilla is in a position to compete with Tiruppur of Tamil Nadu,” he added.

Speaking on the separate Statehood movement, the Minister stated that Telangana, which was formed under the leadership of K Chandrashekhar Rao, had undergone massive transformation on all fronts. Previously, Ankapur and Gangidevipalli used to be model villages. But now, Telangana villages had won 30 percent of the awards announced by the Centre for local bodies, with 13 villages from the State winning national awards so far.
