KTR Accuses Revanth Reddy of Corruption in Telangana Elections

Telangana Minister KT Rama Rao (KTR) accused the current Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) chairman, Revanth Reddy, of being more dangerous than underworld figures like Dawood Ibrahim and Charles Sobhraj in a heated exchange of words.

Reddy, according to KTR, is reportedly implicated in corrupt practices inside his own party.KTR, a key politician in the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), chastised Rahul Gandhi for accusing Telangana of corruption, stating that the TPCC president was entangled in corruption problems inside the Congress.

He then suggested that Rahul Gandhi be referred to as a “reader” rather than a “leader” since he reads scripts created by local leaders without paying attention to their content.

This discussion comes after Rahul Gandhi accused the Telangana administration of being the most corrupt in the country, stating that it is controlled by a single family. Rahul further claimed that the BJP, TRS, and AIMIM have formed a covert coalition against the Congress in Telangana.

Telangana is preparing for a three-way race in the assembly elections between the BJP, BRS, and Congress. The BRS won 88 out of 119 seats and a sizable vote percentage in the last Assembly election. With 19 seats and a smaller vote percentage, Congress finished second.
