Telangana Minister for Municipal Administration KT Rama Rao has assured necessary assistance to the family of film songs writer Kandikonda.
KTR today responded to a letter written by Matruka, daughter of Kandikonda, assuring his support to the family.
Kandikonda was admitted to the hospital many times some months ago due to a serious illness. KTR assured support and arranged for his better treatment. Though Kandikonda has recovered from illness now, his family is facing financial difficulties and Matruka hasKandikonda family informed the Minister that they were unable to pay the house rent.

She requested KTR to see that they were provided a house in Chitrapuri Colony or any other place. Responding to her plea on the Twitter platform, KTR assured necessary help to the family. He said that his office staff will talk to the Minister for Cinematography, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, and extend assistance.
Kandikonda has earned a name as a film lyricist with the song ‘Malli Kooyave Guvva’ in ‘Itlu Sravani Subrahmanyam’ directed by Puri Jagannath. He wrote songs for films like ‘Idiot’, ‘Satyam’, ‘Pokiri’, ‘Lovely Lovely’. He penned two songs for ‘Needi Nadi Oke Katha’, in 2018.
