KTR fumes at Centre for denying funds, rail coach factory

Telangana MPs will fight in the parliament for state rights according to MAUD and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao. The minister today took serious exception to the center being ruled by the NDA-led BJP for ignoring the pleas of the state.

The Minister demanded that the Centre should cancel its plan and keep the promise on Coach factory and others made as per AP reorganization act. Else, the State will fight with the center on the issues he said.

He disclosed that the state government will work out a plan to register its protest at any level to achieve its rights from the center.

The minister deplored that the Centre has denied the railway coach factory despite promising to give. Through an RTI act, he got information from the railway department that there is no need for a railway coach factory near Warangal as sought by the state government. Though the Centre gives funds and projects to BJP ruling states it is ignoring our repeated pleas the minister expressed concern.

The state government has been urging the center for funds and projects and the BJP regime is in denial mode, he said.

KT Rama Rao said that they will continue to make efforts for the railway coach factory. We have already pooled up 150 acres of land for the purpose he said.

He expressed concern that the center is still remaining ignorant of the state demands for new railway lines, railway varsity, coach factory, and others. The BJP deceived Telangana as it denied bullet rail for cities like Hyderabad he added.
