KTR inaugurates Panchatatva park in Indira Park

Hyderabad: Minister for MA&UD KTR Rao today inaugurated Panchatatva park in Indira Park here. Speaking on the occasion the minister said as per the aspirations of the Chief Minister K Chandra Shekar Rao to provide good environment  to the citizens.

On these  lines the GHMC has developed 17 theme parks (Panchantatva Park) one of them is opened for public today.  This part developed with the cost of Rs.17 lakhs. The Indira Park spread over 16 acres, it has cross walk, infinity walk, yoga shed, Raasi Vanam, open gym, herbal plants like wise it provides the need of different age groups.

It is also proposed to provide one more open gym as about 6,500 to 6,800 are visiting indira Park he said.  The GHMC is taking up re development of parks in a big way like, development of 300 tree parks 50 Theme parks etc.

Earlier, on enhancement of salaries of Sanitation workers,   as a part of gratitude, the Sanitation workers performed “Palabhishekam to the portraits of Chief Minister K Chandra Shekar Rao and  Minister K.Taraka Rama rao, in the presence of  Minister for Excise and Tourism Srinivas Goud, Mayor Dr Bonthu Rammohan  and MLA, Muta Gopal.

Rammohan said that Chief Minister having recognized the services of sanitation workers  in keeping the city clean and services rendered during covid-19 pandemic and floods has enhanced the salaries of sanitary Public Health Workers & field level staff from Rs..14,000 to Rs. 17,000 and Sanitary Field Assistant & other Public Health Field Assistants including Entomology field Assistants  from 14,500 to Rs..17,500.

Local Corporator Laasya Nanditha, Zonal Commissioner  Srinivas Reddy, Addl. Commissioner UBD Krishna , Director Nagi Reddy, Chief Entomology Ram Babu,  DMC  Hari Krishan , AMOH Hemalatha, Bharghava Narayan and other senior officials participated in the program.
