KTR lays Neera Cafe foundation at Necklace Road

Hyderabad: IT Minister KT Rama Rao today laid the foundation for a modern Neera Cafe at the picturesque Necklace Road.

He participated in the program along with ministers Srinivas Yadav,  Srinivas Goud,  Mayor Rammohan, and others. 

This cafe will come up with modern facilities soon and the youth will enjoy the drink he said. They also consumed the neera drink to mark the occasion. 

On the occasion,  the IT minister said that the government is offering all help to Gowda community to retain work.  The Chief Minister K Chandra Shekhar Rao has waived off tax for Gowdas besides offering necessary support, he said. 

About two lakhs of families are relying in toddy tapping profession in the state he said.
KTR said that the Gowdas will benefit from Toddy and Neera policies by the government.  We will start Neera Cafe at the site which can be consumed by people he said. KTR has said that the government will provide Rs 5 lakh of exgratia to kin of gowdas if breadwinner dies during the work. 

Srinivas Goud said that the KCR government has been supporting community professions to get back.  No other governments have favoured the gowdwas welfare Goud said.  Neera has medicinal values and good for health,  Goud claimed.
