KTR vows to restore historical structures in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Municipal minister KTR today promised to restore all the historic structures to past glory by taking all measures in the Hyderabad. 

KTR inaugurated the historic structures of Mozamjahi Market in Hyderabad as it was renovated and given a  facelift after two years He stated that efforts to be made to get a heritage structure tag to the site and a few others from the center he said.

GHMC  has taken up the task of renovation of the historic structures to get back to its past glory,  the minister said.  The minister asserted that it was restarted for public after a facelift and needed repairs. 

It is the responsibility of the government to protect the monuments and historic structures in the city.  The officials have completed the renovation of the Mozamjahi Market in the heart of the city he said. 

The minister said that all such monuments and historic structures will be restored to get back to their sheen.  He recalled if the same when he used to have ice cream at the site when he was studying in a school. 

We will protect them and get the heritage structure tag from the center he said. 

Ministers Srinivas Goud,  Mahamood Ali,  Sabitha Indra Reddy,  Mayor Rammohan,  MPs Keshsva Rao, Asaduddin Owaisi, MLAs Raja Singh, leaders of other parties, HMDA commissioner, municipal principle secretary Arvind Kumar were present. 

Mozamjahi Market is a fruit market in Hyderabad. Named after Moazzam Jah- the second son of Mir Osman Ali Khan
