TRS MP Captain Lakshmikantha Rao today criticized former Health Minister Etala Rajender for his comments on the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, ministers, and TRS leadership. He told media persons that he will contest from the Huzurabad segment if the party leadership directs him.
He said that Rajender was making false charges after land grabbing charges and probe. Despite knowing wrong, Rajender grabbed assigned lands against the norms, he charged. KCR always gave priority to Rajender a BC leader and elevated him with top posts he said. Rao found fault with the former minister for stating that KCR dumped him and belittled his image. It is wrong to grab assigned or any lands and that can be purchased as per norms of the government he said.

If the Chief Ministers directs I am ready to contest against Rajender from Huzurabad itself, Lakshmikanth Rao said.
He said that the party chief decision is final with regard to the addition and removal of the ministers and having portfolios as per constitutional procedures and legal proceedings. His remarks came at a time when Rajender said that well-wishers and supporters from 9 districts are unhappy at his removal by the Chief Minister. Rajender also said that he will announce a future plan of politics after talking to well-wishers in Hyderabad.

On this Rao expressed displeasure for criticism against the Chief Minister.
