Left Parties demand AP Govt. to appoint Attorney General

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh CPM state secretary P Madhu said that triangle contest was a big change in politics in Andhra Pradesh state instead of dual contest.

Left parties leaders P Madhu, K Ramakrishna, teachers, employees unions leaders were participated in a meeting held at Vijaywada Siddhartha Auditorium here on Sunday.

Speaking on this occasion, Madhu said that JanaSena, CPM, CPI will wage movements unitedly. CPI state secretary K Ramakrishna alleged that there was no response from the centre though they were waging movements opposing Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS).

Alleging that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi government was behaving dictatorially towards employees, Ramakrishna said that they will organize Garjana program opposing CPS at Vijayawada on September 15. He said that the employees were in a feeling that CPS was a life and death problem. He demanded the government to appoint Attorney General immediately to do justice to the weaker sections in allocation of medical seats. He said that CPI and CPM will extend their support to the Health University seizure program by the student JAC on August 20. (NSS)
