Lotus Launches Eletre SUV in India Starting at Rs. 2.55 Crore


Lotus, the renowned British carmaker, has introduced its inaugural product in the Indian market—the Eletre SUV, starting at an enticing price of Rs. 2.55 crore (ex-showroom). This striking all-electric hyper SUV is available in three enticing options: Eletre, Eletre S, and Eletre R, and will be retailed nationwide through the brand’s official sales partner, Exclusive Motors in New Delhi.

The exterior of the Lotus Eletre boasts a formidable presence, featuring an aggressive front fascia adorned with sleek, arrow-shaped Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) alongside a broad front profile. The vehicle showcases a split headlamp setup with an active grille, wide air dams, and a distinctive black-painted roof, complemented by bold blacked-out wheel arches and a choice of 20- and 23-inch alloy wheels to enhance its side profile.

At the rear, a standout design element is the full-length LED light bar connecting the tail lights. The supercar also incorporates a roof-mounted split spoiler, functional air dams, a sloping roofline, and a sleek blacked-out rear bumper. The Lotus Eletre offers a range of six captivating color options, including Natron Red, Galloway Green, Stellar Black, Kaimu Grey, Blossom Grey, and Solar Yellow.

Inside the cabin, the Lotus Eletre provides a luxurious experience with a 15.1-inch foldable touchscreen infotainment system equipped with Lotus Hyper OS, four-zone climate control, 12-way electrically adjustable front seats, and a convenient wireless charger. Additional features include an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite, air purifier, multi-color ambient lighting, and a premium 15-speaker KEF-sourced sound system. The electric SUV is available in both four and five-seater configurations, with interior themes customizable in six styles, using 100% recyclable materials.

Under the hood, the Eletre is powered by a 112kWh battery pack unit standard across all variants. The Eletre and Eletre S models boast a dual-motor setup, delivering an impressive driving range of 600km on a full charge, accompanied by 600bhp and 710Nm of torque. The more potent Eletre R comes equipped with a dual-motor setup and a two-speed transmission unit, offering a driving range of 490km, coupled with an impressive power output exceeding 900bhp and 985Nm of torque.
