Mahesh Bhagwat inaugurates 242 CCTV cameras

Hyderabad: Today Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat IPS along with Medchal MLA Sudheer Reddy and DCP Malkajigiri have inaugurated 242 CCTV cameras at Sanskruthi town ship in the limits of Ghatkesar Police Station under Community CCTV program. They also planted saplings at town ship.

Further Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat IPS along with DCP Malkajigiri has inaugurated 60 CCTV cameras at Sainikpuri Army Officers welfare society in the limits of kushaiguda Police Station under Community CCTV . Commissioner said “CCTV camera is equal to 100 Police men and it will be working round the clock. Recently most of the cases are detected through CCTV cameras and it will useful for the identification of guilty of accused and innocence.

There are 2 types of cameras i.e. Nenu Saitham where individual are installing cameras covering their residence, establishment and Community CCTV where community funds are raised and cameras are networked with control room of Police station.

In all villagers of Alair Mandal CCTV cameras have been installed and established one control room to monitor those cameras. Public are weapons of Police, if they co-operate with us there will no need of Lathies and weapons. Telangana State Government has arranged CCTVs for crime-free society due to which especially snatching cases are decreased. Police are marching ahead due to technology.” (NSS)
