Major Drug Seizure: 935 Kilograms Recovered in Raid on Unlicensed Facilities

A special team from the drugs control administration recovered a stunning 935 kilograms of narcotics in a raid performed at unlicensed facilities in Annarugudem village, Khammam district, in one of the most significant drug seizures in recent years.

The operation, which took place on December 22, targeted Aspen Biopharma Pvt Ltd facilities.Officers uncovered chemicals such as Valsartan and Clopidogrel at the illegal business during the raid.

Upender Reddy, a close relative of Kadari Sateesh Reddy, the managing director of Aspen Biopharma Pvt Ltd and the primary accused in the case, allegedly ran the facility.

Authorities conducted a previous raid on December 4 in Macha Bollaram, Hyderabad, which is owned by Kadari Sateesh Reddy. Drugs worth Rs 4.35 crore were confiscated during that operation, however Kadari Sateesh Reddy escaped.

The ongoing investigations are expected to shed light on the entire scope of the unlawful operations and drug-trafficking networks. Authorities remain dedicated to reducing the spread of narcotics and holding those guilty accountable.
