Malkapur achieves progress: Harish Rao

Hyderabad: Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao today said that Malkapur village in Tupran mandal is making good development these days. He attended Kantivelugu scheme launched by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at the village here. Speaking on the occasion, Harish Rao said that as KCR thought the village has developed significantly and making rapid progress. We are happy that Kantivelugu scheme is being launched from this village he said. The village, he said, is ideal in conducting the flagship Haritha Haram program and running towards achieving 100 per cent literacy rate. This is possible with combined efforts of leaders, officials and cooperation by people he said. He also appealed to people to make use of the opportunities and become literate and remain part of the progress. (NSS)
