Hyderabad: Congress leader and former MP Mallu Ravi today condemned the comments, another leader V Hanumantha Rao on TPCC post, and party in charge Manickam Tagore.
Talking to presspersons here he hit out at his colleague VH who opposed the views that the congress high command may appoint MP Revanth Reddy as the party chief. I openly said that Revanth Reddy has to get the TPCC president post he said. I am not doing anything wrong or hiding on TPCC president post Ravi said.
The congress leader criticized VH for talking against the Congress top. Brass by his remarks against Manickam Tagore. The Congress high command knows to decide on the top post and VH should not make bad comments, he suggested. VH opposed Revanth Reddy becoming the party chief in the state as he will bury it further.
He warned that he may quit the party if Revanth Reddy gets the chief post. He favored a BC leader for the TPCC president post.
The names doing rounds for the TPCC president post include Revanth Reddy, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Sridhar Babu, and Mallu Bharti Vikramarka, and others.
