Manish Sisodia Gets Satyendra Jain’s Portfolios Post ED Arrest

As per the latest updates, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has been allocated additional charge of portfolios Health, Home, Power, Water and Industries, which were held by Satyendar Jain. Jain was arrested by the ED in a tax evasion case on Monday and shipped off the ED care till June 9 by a court on Tuesday.

A notice given on Wednesday by the General Administration branch of the Delhi government said, “In exercise of abilities gave under Rule 3 of GNCTD (Allocation of Business) Rules 193, Lt Governor in conference with the Chief Minister is satisfied to distribute arrangement of Health, Industries, Power, Home, Urban Development, Irrigation and Flood Control and Water to Manish Sisodia, Deputy Chief Minister, notwithstanding the portfolios he is by and by holding.”

In the meantime, tending to a media preparation on Thursday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal guaranteed that sources had educated him regarding Jain’s arrest a couple of months prior and similar sources have let him know that the Central government will arrest Manish Sisodia too before long.

In another update, the Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Monday endorsed a venture worth Rs 6.1 crore for improvement of streets traversing 7.47 km in Rohini, authorities said. He took the choice subsequent to checking on an appraisal report of city streets. Public Works Department (PWD) started dealing with a “war-balance” to work on the between network of streets across Rohini and diminish gridlock on inner streets, as indicated by an authority explanation.
