Hyderabad: In view of massive damage caused to life and property by the floods in Kerala, employees of Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) has contributed their one day salary for Kerala flood victims.
According to Dr. M A Sikandar, Registrar, this donation is voluntary nature as a good will gesture. Total amount of Rs. 14,87,213/- which was collected has been remitted to the Kerala Chief Minister’s Relief fund. The total of 624 staff members participated in this donation, which is about 78 percent of the University staff.
