Marriage certificates now delivered at your doorstep in Hyderabad

The Waqf Board has developed a new application for the procurement of marriage and other documents, eliminating the role of brokers.

Shahnawaz Qasim IPS, the chief executive officer, has launched an application that allows recipients to fill out the forms and have their certificates sent to their homes in light of allegations of corruption in the Qudaat department and the expanding role of the intermediary.

Now, anyone from any part of Telangana can request a marriage certificate online. It will either be sent through the mail or delivered by a courier.

In addition to reducing the number of people queuing in the Qudaat area, the online application also aims to stop the broker from operating.

Certificates are also available from the Qudaat department, but an application must be filled out online first.

Following the completion of the farm, applicants will get an OTP, which allows them to pay the certificate fee. Certificate information will be sent to applicants via SMS.

The information for the marriage certificate will also be given through WhatsApp so the final revisions can be made. This news comes as a huge relief to anyone who has to go through the process of obtaining marriage certificates.

There will be a Tatkal fee of Rs. 400 for the certificate, while the usual service fee would be Rs. 300.

An application for a marriage certificate must be made online (click here).
