Mega run organized by Hyd cops in celebration of Swatantra Bharata Vajrotsavalu

As part of the Swatantra Bharata Vajrotsavalu celebrations, Hyderabad City Police organized a mega run from the Integrated Command and Control Centre to NTR Bhavan.

A number of officials participated in the run, including Home Minister Mohd Mahmood Ali, Cinematography Minister T Srinivas Yadav, DGP M Mahender Reddy, Hyderabad CP CV Anand, and others.

It was flagged off by Home Minister Mahmood Ali. There were hundreds of participants in the run which began at the Integrated Command and Control Building.

Falaknuma Palace to Charminar was the location of a ‘Freedom Run’ in the old city. It was a huge success with students and youngsters participating in large numbers. P Sai Chaitanya, DCP (South), signaled the start of the run.

Several such events were organized at the local level throughout the city by the city police. In the morning, a sapling planting program was also held at various police stations.

On Monday, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao launched the Swatantra Bharatha Vajrotsavam celebrations. The Telangana government organized these celebrations to commemorate the country’s 75th anniversary of independence.

The CM hoisted the national flag at the HICC in Madhapur, Hyderabad, on this occasion. Later, he paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation. Cultural programs are planned to entertain the event’s attendees.

The government will distribute 1.2 crore flags on August 15 to hoist the national flag on every house in the state. The Swatantra Bharatha Vajrotsavam will conclude on August 22 at the LB Stadium in Hyderabad.

As stated by CM KCR, our country gained independence after many sacrifices and struggles. Mahatma Gandhi, the leader of India’s independence and the messenger of peace who introduced the world to the doctrine of nonviolence, was a universal man. Many people around the world look up to him as an inspiration.
