Hyderabad : Panchayat Raj Minister E Dayakar Rao today asked the officials concerned to release waters to canals, crops under Devadula irrigation system. He held a review meeting at Secretariat here on irrigation of crops in the combined Warangal district. Dayakar Rao said that the state is witnessing good rains and it is time for irrigating crops.
He directed the irrigation and other officials to coordinate and release waters through the project and reservoirs. Ensure that the canals, reservoirs, water bodies under the project are filled for timely supply of waters.
The minister also asked them to avoid delay in release of waters to crops. He hoped that the state will see better farm production this year. MLAs Dharna Reddy, GV Ramana Reddy and officials were present.(NSS)
