Hyderabad: A minor fire broke out in the seventh floor of ‘Rail Nilayam’, South Central Railway headquarters, in the early hours today.
Officials aid the mishap took place in the Telecommunications department on the seventh floor. It is suspected that short circuit might be the cause of the fire. Major mishap was averted as the Fire services personnel reached the spot soon after receiving information about the fire. Four fire engines brought the fire under control.
It was learnt that some files relating to Telecommunications Department were burnt in the accident and the loss due to the mishap is being assessed.(NSS)
