MLC candidate leave no stone unturned to please voters

As the date to hold the elections for two graduate MLC seats in the state is fast approaching, the candidates of the key political parties are leaving no stone unturned to reach out to the voters and seek their votes.

The elections will be held for Hyderabad-Mahbubnagar -Ranga Reddy MLC seat and Warangal- Khammam – Nalgonda graduate MLC seats on March 14 of this month. The election campaign is going on a brisk pace in the two constituencies which cover 77 Assembly seats of the state. The candidates of the key political parties like the ruling TRS and opposition Congress and BJP are not only meeting government and private employees but also unemployed graduates and seeking their votes for them.

They are also chalking out their election campaign in such a manner that they would be able to meet as many voters as possible through different modes. The responsibility to ensure the victory of the ruling TRS party candidates has been entrusted with the state ministers MLAs and MPs of the ruling party.

The working President of the TRS and state minister KTR is also monitoring the ongoing election campaign of the party. The TRS has fielded its sitting MLC  Palla Rajeshwar Reddy from Warangal-Khammam- Nalgonda graduate MLC seat, it fielded the daughter of the former prime minister of the country PV Narasimha Rao Surabhi Vani Devi from Hyderabad-Mahbubnagar-Ranga Reddy district. The ruling party has intensified its campaign for the Hyderabad seat.

On the other hand, the main opposition Congress party has beaten the other political parties in the election campaign and carrying out a brisk political campaign in the two seats for its contesting candidates G. Chinna Reddy, who is a former minister and a veteran Congress leader and R. Ramulu Naik, who is a former MLC. The party which has already conducted MP constituency level meetings in two Lok Sabha seats so far has now appointed the party in charge to ensure the victory of the party candidates in the two seats. The responsibility of Nalgonda district has been entrusted to CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Ranga Reddy district to malkajgiri MP A. Revanth Reddy.

TPCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, Bhongir MP K. Venkat Reddy, and AICC secretaries Ch. Vamshichand Reddy and SA Sampath Kumar are doing field-level election campaigns for the party candidates. It has also appointed one party in charge of every 20 voters. On the other hand, BJP has also appointed one party in charge of every 25 voters of the two seats. The BJP leaders, who are on cloud nine after their back-to-back victories in Dubbaka assembly by-elections and GHMC elections, are trying their best to not only retain their sitting seat of Hyderabad-Mahbubnagar-Ranga Reddy but also wrest Warangal Khammam and Nalgonda graduate MLC seat from the ruling TRS party.

The saffron party has fielded sitting MLC N.Ramachandra Rao from Hyderabad- Mahbubnagar – Ranga Reddy MLC seat and G. Premendar Reddy from Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda district graduate MLC seat.

On the other hand, the candidates of other political parties and some independent candidates are giving tough competition to the candidates of key political parties. The founder president of Telangana Jana Samithi Professor M. Kodandaram is contesting from Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda graduate MLC seat while former MLC Dr. K. Nageswar is contesting from Hyderabad- Mahbubnagar- Ranga Reddy graduate MLC seat.

Nageswar is carrying out his election campaign with an objective to secure the support of all employees unions of the state. The president of Telangana Inti Party Dr. Cheruku Sudhakar, who is contesting from Warangal-Khammam -Nalgonda graduate MLC seat, is busy securing the different sections of the society to win in the elections.
