A strange incident, monkeys snatched away a bag containing Rs 2 lakh in Agra from a businessman. The incident was reported on Tuesday at Nai Mandi area when businessman Vijay Bansal was on his way to bank.
The bank’s guard along with the father-daughter duo chased the monkey but couldn’t get the bag. The monkeys, however, tore up the bag and scattered Rs 60,000, which were recovered.
Thana Naai Mandi Halka Madan resident Sarraf Vijay Bansal went with daughter Nancy to deposit the money in the bank.
Sarraf Vijay Bansal ran after the monkeys and they attacked him. The apes then climbed up a multi-storey building and started throwing away the money and tore some currency notes. Bansal was able to recover Rs 60,000.
