A tragic occurrence occurred in Siruru village of Raikode Mandal in Sangareddy district involving a mother called Vijaya, 32, and her four-year-old daughter, Gouri. Vijaya allegedly pushed her daughter into the Manjeera River before leaping in herself. The incident occurred on an undisclosed date.
Authorities initiated a rescue mission to recover the dead following the event. The efforts were successful, as Vijaya and Gouri’s remains were recovered from the river. They were then taken to Zaheerabad Government Hospital for postmortem examinations.

At this point, it is unknown what motivated Vijaya to take such a sad step. The police have launched an investigation into the event and have filed a report.
