MP Chief Minister To Scrutinize NGOs Receiving Foreign Funds

As per the latest reports, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Monday requested that senior authorities examine all Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) working in the state and are getting funds from abroad.

MP CM Urges For Spending Reports 

During a virtual gathering with senior officials from all areas in the state, the Chief Minister requested that the authorities review reports on subsidizing of NGOs and cash being spent by them (NGOs) and present a report to his office.

He said it has been seen that a few NGOs are engaged with change particularly in ancestral regions and educated the authorities that it should be halted right away. “Discover all NGOs associated with strict change in the state. There is a bad situation for such practices in Madhya Pradesh,” Chouhan said.

He further said that numerous NGOs are engaged with spreading disdain among the networks. “Who are these NGOs and what are their assets, their asset stream – this should be examined quickly,” Chouhan said while auditing the rule of law circumstance of the state on Monday.
