According to the latest reports, Revanth Reddy, the president of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee, was detained by city police in Jubilee Hills on Thursday morning.

Revanth Reddy’s supporters attempted to prevent him from being apprehended by the police. The police, on the other hand, moved him to the Langar Houz police station.

The police also made preparations at Gandhi Bhavan in Nampally to prevent any protest by Congress supporters.

Revanth Reddy took to Twitter to share a video of himself being detained by the police. “Police arrested for the second day in a row so that CM can celebrate his birthday,” he stated. “Unemployed youth are giving up their lives… Is it time to celebrate?!”

Meanwhile, state president and MP Bandi Sanjay of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) wished the CM a happy birthday in a letter. Himanta Biswa Sarma, the Chief Minister of Assam, also took to Twitter to express his wishes. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also wished KCR a happy birthday.
