Hyderabad: Former minister Mukesh Goud, who recently declared that he would not leave the Congress under any circumstances, stayed away from AICC Chief Rahul Gandhi’s two-day tour of the State.
The Congress leaders feel as Mukesh Goud might be leaving the party, he stayed away from Rahul Gandhi’s tour. While all Congress leaders from small to big accompanied Rahul Gandhi till he left for Delhi, the former minister stayed away from Rahul visit. Some leaders said Mukesh might leave the party and join ruling TRS party. It is learnt that Mukesh was waiting for green signal from TRS supremo and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao to join the TRS. (NSS)
