Nadda slams KCR for thrusting early polls on people

Hyderabad : Lambasting TRS government for premature dissolution of the Assembly and advancing elections, Union Minister and Telangana BJP election in-charge Jagat Prakash Nadda today alleged that the decision of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao put additional financial burden on the people of the State. Addressing the media at the State party office here, Nadda alleged that KCR has failed to give proper reasons for holding advance elections for the Assembly when elections to Lok Sabha were slated to be held after eight months. KCR has thrust elections on the people just to continue his dynastic rule in Telangana and it was a burden on the State exchequer and people of the State, he charged.

The Union minister said the people of Telangana were sad with maladministration of KCR government, which also failed to fulfil its promises. He the State government has failed on all fronts and there was no development in the State and youth are frustrated with the TRS government’s performance. The Telangana people were yearning for BJP rule after watching NDA government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which has initiated several welfare schemes for the people, he added. Nadda alleged that the TRS government deprived the benefit of Ayushman Bharat, a prestigious universal health scheme, to the people of the State. It did not implement the scheme, which was providing health insurance to poor people in the country, he said.

The people of Telangana would support the BJP and wanted it to implement the welfare schemes taken up by NDA government, Nadda and assured that Ayushman Bharat programme would be immediately implemented if people voted BJP to power. Telangana State BJP president Dr K Laxman, former Union minister Bandaru Dattatraya, G Kishan Reddy and others were present. (NSS)
