CM KCR announced New insurance scheme to be soon implemented for farmers.
Tenagana CM KCR said that family of farmers should recieve an amount of Rs.5 lakh as an insurance in the incident of farmers death.
“Whatever may be the cause of death the family should immediately get five lakh rupees insurance” says CM in the meeting held with ministers and officers to discuss on the new insurance sheme propsed for farmers.
Chandrashekar Rao says government should pay the amount on behalf of farmers.Premium amount will be budgeted amount and hence it is assured payment.
CM urged Principal Secretary for Agriculture and Principal Secretary Finance to have a detailed discussion with Life Insurance Corporation officers for fixing the rate and for finalising other modalities.
Also recently an investment support scheme of Rs.8,000 per acre, per annum to all farmers has been introduced by the state government.
