Hyderabad: Tamilisai Soundararajan will be sworn in as first woman Governor of Telangana State at Raj Bhavan on September 8 at 11 am. She will be replacing ESL Narasimhan.
Telangana High Court Chief Justice RS Chowhan will administer oath of office and secrecy to her as new Governor of the State. Telangana Resident Commissioner of Delhi Vedantham Giri handed over appointment order copy to her in Chennai on Tuesday evening.
Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, cabinet ministers MLAs, MLCs, MPs, Chief Secretary SK Joshi, top officials and other dignitaries will be present. (NSS)
