The Nirmal district in Telangana State has been inundated with floodwaters. The irrigation projects from the district like Swarna, Kadem, and Bhainsa are brimming with water due to the rainfall.
The authorities have opened six gates of the Swarna irrigation project.
The GNR Colony of Siddapur of the district headquarters has been inundated with water due to the rains. The residents of the area have waited for the help of the authorities concerned. They have climbed up to the top of their hours and waited for the government’s help.

On knowing about the problem of the victims, the district collector Musharaff al Farooqui and the district in-charge sp Praveen Kumar reached the spot and took steps for shifting the victims to safe places. On the other hand, the CM KCR held a review meeting on the issue and asked officials to take steps to help the needy.
