Telangana Municipal and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao today said Telangana State is ideal for implementing schemes for the welfare of the farmers and other sectors.
KT Rama Rao inaugurated a Rythu Vedika at Baddenapally in his Sirciilla segment with local leaders and officials. KTR said they are setting up one farm cluster for 5000 farmers in the State.
The Minister said that groundwater level increased by 6 meters after the construction of irrigation projects like Kaleshwaram and others. He pointed out that the government built 2,603 rythu vedikas across the State.
All districts got rythu vedikas to support and advise the farmers for better cultivation to get benefits. The farmers should go for alternative crops and take suggestions from experts of the farming sector to sow different crops, he said.

The Minister said Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has vision and commitment for the farmers in the State.
KCR was offering all benefits to the farmers and Rs 10,000 per acre and no other State in the country giving such financial assistance.
The farmers were getting 24-hour free power for farming activities and Rs 5 lakh towards insurance on the death of a farmer and the benefit will be given in eight days to the kin, he stated.
The TRS Government is for the welfare of all sections and development of the State, he added.
