OU JAC approaches HC on using NOTA in Telugu film

Hyderabad: Finding fault with the issue of using NOTA word for Telugu film, OU JAC leader Kailash Netha approached the High Court today. He informed the High Court that it was pre-requisite that the producer has to take the permission of the Election Commission before using NOTA word as title for the film.

He was also urged the Court to give a chance to the producer of the film to release the film only after watching the film and removing the objectionable scenes if there any as the election code was effective in Telangana state. He was also informed the Court as the film was produced on the basis of politics and it will influence the voters and direct the election commission to watch the film and make them to give permission for the film release. The petition will come for trail on Thursday.

It may be mentioned here that Congress leaders Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy, Guduru Naryaana Reddy were also expressed their objections on the NOTA film on Wednesday saying that it may influence the voters. (NSS)
