Hyderabad: AIMIM floor leader in the State Assembly Akbaruddin Owaisi today said that Chief Minister, K Chandra Sekhar Rao has developed Telangana state in all sectors in six years.
Ministers have introduced their budget proposals on SC, ST, BC, women and children welfare and Minorities, welfare and housing facilities. Member P Veeraiah began the debate.
Participating in the debate, Owaisi criticized the Congress and the BJP for blind comments on the government. Owaisi praised that the TRS Government has launched several schemes for minority development. He criticized the previous congress government for not giving funds for minority welfare. ‘We used to beg for just Rs 36 crore for our welfare in the Congress rule, now the TRS government allotted Rs. 1500 crore, he stated.
The people are happy with the welfare schemes and supported the TRS leadership to retain power, Owaisi said. He said that KCR has started several welfare programs for minorities welfare in the state. A large number of students of minorities are studying in special schools with these schemes in the state, while it was not the case during the congress regime before bifurcation. The KCR government offers Rs 20 lakhs towards the students for higher education abroad.
Marriage schemes like Shaadi Mubarak and Kalyan Lakshmi are helpful for families for marriage of their girls, Owaisi said.
He flayed the opposition parties for trying to blame the chief Minister despite efficient rule for all-round development. Owaisi urged the government to check irregularities in Wakf Board over the recruitment of jobs and lands illegally occupied.
