Owaisi takes jibe at opposition on Muslims’ atrocious state in UP

Taking pot shots at opposition parties of the UP for blaming AIMIM as party always plays a polarisation politics to break the society, the party chief Asaduddin Owaisi said, “The expert committee constituted by his party has suggested that among all the minority communities in Uttar Pradesh, Muslims are the most poor and backward people in every respect.”

He was addressing a mammoth public gathering in Uttar Pradesh today where two rounds of polling have already been concluded and the state is gearing up to face the third phase in the row.

“CM Yogi of BJP is ruling the state since last five years, Akhilesh Yadav of Samajwadi party governed the state for the same period in the past and Mayawvati of Bahujan Samaj Party too have her share in the power in previous wrought an even Mulayam Singh Yadav got the opportunity to ruled the state but the situation remain unchanged for the Muslims in Uttar Pradesh,” the AIMIM chief claimed.

Moving statistically he said, “Most of the unemployed youths found in Muslim community. It is the Muslims who hold very fewer extents of land compared to any other community in the state. Most of the dropout from schools comes from Muslim community. And last but not least a mere 3 percent of graduates, which is least among all communities, found only in Muslim community.”

“Despite of all these incontrovertible facts, the Samajwadi party speaks about social equality while the BJP brags about ‘Sab ka saath, sab ka vikaas’ though neither has been visible on the ground when it comes to a compare the Muslims socio-economic condition with any other minority in the state,” he claimed.

Giving a clarion call to the people bursting into seams for an introspection about the political situation in Uttar Pradesh, he said, “Rights of poor, backward class and oppressed cannot be secured through panhandling in Indian politics. It would be possible only through striving and struggling on every front.”

Claiming to have come before the people of Uttar Pradesh to fight for their rights resolutely, the AIMIM chief ask the gathering whether they are ready to support him for a revolution as the fight is not for his own but the people itself, the gathering reciprocate him with ‘aye’ rending in the air.
