Pakistani National Detained for Illegal Stay in India

Faiz Mohammed, a Pakistani national, was detained in Hyderabad for illegally living in India since November of the previous year. He had illegally entered India over the Nepal border to reside with his Indian wife at his in-laws’ home in NM Guda,Kishan Bagh.

Faiz Mohammed, 24, is a native of Swat Village in the Shangal District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. He came to India to live with his Indian wife, Neha Fatima, with whom he fell in love and married in Sharjah. They have a three-year-old kid.

Faiz’s father-in-law and mother-in-law allegedly assisted him in entering India and obtaining local identity cards, according to police. They arranged for his entry into Nepal without necessary visa papers.

In India, Faiz was registered as “Mohd Ghouse,” and a birth certificate was procured in this name. During his detention, the authorities confiscated Faiz’s Pakistani passport, mobile phone, Pakistan National Identity card, flight tickets, boarding passes, lodging booking confirmation, bus ticket, and Indian Railways tickets.

The police have launched a comprehensive investigation combining counterintelligence and central intelligence agencies to investigate whether Faiz Mohammed’s unlawful entry into India was the result of a conspiracy.
